On this peaceful piece of land you’ll find the vines that we grow the grapes for the wines from, but also several fruit trees, small apple orchards, vegetable gardens, berries, nut trees, meadows and forest areas. This place is bustling with its biodiversity and everything has its purpose and its place.
The vineyard was planted by the landowner Sven-Erik in 2009, with 8 different grape varieties. It has been meticulously taken care of by him since then.
Soil health has always been the main focus for this land, so the vines have never seen any chemical treatment or fertilizers.
Our work in the vines is to encourage biodiversity and the holistic balance of the vineyard by increasing organic matter and promoting microbial activity.
During the growing season we are showering the vines with herbal teas and microbial fermentations to boost their immune system. Fertilizers are always naturally sourced from local highland cattle cows, brown algae, compost teas etc.
Jesper Friberg
Jesper Friberg is an experienced freelance winemaker with an impressive international track record. He spent a year honing his craft at Felton Road and dedicated three years in France, working on vintages at Lapierre in Morgon and with Eric Pfifferling at L’Anglore in Tavel. Currently, Jesper is creating exceptional wines on the picturesque east coast of Skåne, where he cultivates half a hectare of vines that was planted in 2009, featuring eight different varieties.
Passionate about natural and sustainable winemaking, Jesper avoids using chemical sprays, relying instead on microorganisms and herbal teas to nurture his vines. His wines are celebrated for their vibrancy and uniqueness. Beyond winemaking, Jesper showcases his craftsmanship by working on thatched roofs, adding yet another layer to his multifaceted expertise.
